In 2024, 5M2 Construction were proud to be appointed to deliver the complete fit-out of the Ex Libris Café at Imperial College London. The brief was to transform a dated and underused space into a modern, welcoming environment that would serve as both a social hub and a practical catering facility for students, staff and visitors.

Our Approach
Working closely with the client and design team, our scope included:- Full strip-out of the existing interior
- New flooring, ceiling systems and lighting
- Bespoke joinery and service counters
- Mechanical & Electrical installations, including kitchen / café equipment
- Decoration, finishes and signage

The finished space is bright, functional and welcoming, providing a much needed social hub at the heart of the university campus.
